Dec. 25: CHRISTMAS EVE 11 PM SERVICE

I bring you good news of a great joy which will come to all the people; for to you is born this day a Saviour, Christ the Lord. (Luke 2: 10-11)

INTERCESSIONS

In our parish: we pray for our priest, Canon Neil Elliot. We pray that God’s love will surround and support those in our community who are in the presence of life challenges… remembering especially: Chris A., Gwen A., Sandra B., Carleen C., Pauline C., Doug D., Gertie D., Kay E., Bill & Pat F., Reg F., Connie G., Fred J., Glenna MacN., Gillian M., Ann McC., Kelly, Logan & Luke P., Gladys W., Dorothy W., Curtis, Rob.
In the community: we pray for the less fortunate who struggle to meet daily needs. We pray for all caregivers and their ministry for those in need in our community.
In the diocese: we pray for Bishop John Privett. We pray for the parishes of the Kokanee and Kootenay Boundary regions.
In the national church: we pray for the national primate, the Most Rev. Fred J. Hiltz.
In the world: we pray for the people of the Holy Land, especially the indigenous Christians. We pray for the Anglican Church of Jerusalem, St. George’s Cathedral. We pray for our political leaders, including Prime Minister Stephen, Premier Gordon, the mayors in our community, and all those in authority under them, that they may govern with wisdom, justice and compassion.
