CREATING TRUSTWORTHY COMMUNITIES: A presentation of the Diocese of Kootenay. Saturday, June 14th—9:00 am to 4:30 pm—@ St. Andrew’s. A full-day workshop designed to educate church leaders in the areas of power and vulnerability, boundary issues, sexual misconduct and tools to establish safe spaces and practices. The goal is to help church leaders become more self-aware of the influence they hold, to identify the risks that influence entails, to educate on appropriate relational behaviour and to facilitate congregations establishing practices to make their community safe and trustworthy. “GOD’S RE-CREATION”: Keynote Speaker—Rt. Rev. Mark MacDonald. A Festival of Faith for All Anglicans in the Diocese of Kootenay. Selkirk College-August 14 to 17th. Join family and friends for a weekend of fun, faith, music, outdoor recreation, great food and a number of educational and/or entertaining workshops. PLP EXTENDING STORE HOURS: PLP are looking for volunteers to staff the store—Monday to Friday 1—4 pm. Any amount of time you are able to volunteer will be very much appreciated. Please contact Ellen Ferguson @ 364-2139.

MEALS ON WHEELS PROGRAM: This service is provided to some of the seniors in our area. As any other service, they rely on volunteers to provide the transportation in getting hot, nutritious meals to those who need them the most. Volunteers are needed in both Greater Trail and Rossland. WHAT'S NEW

GARDEN RECONSTRUCTION: According to the plan approved last fall by Church Committee, our church garden is set to undergo some significant changes this year. An underground sprinkler system will be installed, and a "new look" created where there is some lawn space and welcome seating areas. In order to achieve the tranquil end, we must undergo some interim chaos. Can you help?

Needed: Pick-up truck with driver to help work party load and dump garden matter. Volunteers with shovels, forks, gloves, and strong backs. Refreshment brigade. Work party Sunday April 20th, noon onwards. Please speak to Laurie I. or Jenni S.

ACCOMMODATION NEEDED SOON! A twenty-one year old man, who, along with his parents, currently attends St. Michael's Anglican church in Surrey, has recently been hired at KBRH and will be moving to Trail on April 18th. He is seeking rental accommodation in a private home; a one or two-bedroom suite perhaps.
